Below are the rules pertaining to cancellation of the policy and refund of Visitors Protect plan.
- Prior to Effective Date: If written email request is received by the plan administrator prior to the effective date of coverage, the paid Visitors Protect is fully refunded without any cancellation fee.
- Active Policy: After that effective date, the premium is considered fully earned by the plan administrator. However, partial refunds are available if requested in writing (written email request) and plan is refundable on a pro-rated basis only if no claims are made under the policy. A $50 cancellation fee also applies.

The IMG claim form must be completed, signed to attest the veracity of the claim, and submitted for review . You can download the IMG claim form online. You must also submit proof of claim which must include the following:
- Completed and signed claim forms for each new illness/disease/diagnosis.
- All original billing forms and statements of services rendered from doctors, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.
- All original receipts for medical expenses, prescription medications, and other fees incurred or paid by the insured.
The insured person will have 180 days (about 6 months) from the date of claim is incurred to submit complete proof of claim. The company may ask the insured individual to sign an authorization to release medical information to request medical records. The insured individual will have 60 days (about 2 months) to submit the requested information. The company will review all the submitted documents and then proceed with reimbursement on a timely manner.
